About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the equipment and its supporting systems. You will work alongside engineering and production teams.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed.
- Follow preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
- Manage critical spare parts.
- Document maintenance work and coordinate with engineering and production teams.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Ability to calibrate equipment and troubleshoot faults.
- Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Clear documentation habits and the ability to work with engineering and production.
