About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will own the Databricks Unity Catalog governance foundation, including access controls, lineage and data quality monitoring. You will also show enterprise security reviewers and client stakeholders that those controls work.
What you'll do
- Configure and maintain the Databricks Unity Catalog governance foundation.
- Build classification-driven access controls, governed tags, row filters and column masks.
- Set up and maintain lineage and data quality monitoring.
- Document governance standards for the team and its clients.
- Provide evidence of effective controls to enterprise security reviewers and client stakeholders.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Working knowledge of data classification, access control, row filters and column masking.
- Experience with data lineage and data quality monitoring.
- Clear writing for governance standards and control documentation.
- Comfort presenting evidence of controls to security reviewers and client stakeholders.
