About the role
A small technology and information company in Waterloo is hiring for this role. You will own the evaluation of AI-generated interpretations, replies and conversation practice, and measure how the product performs for users. The work turns data into recommendations that engineering can act on.
What you'll do
- Prepare and analyze product, feedback and authorized evaluation data.
- Develop statistical and NLP models and methods for evaluating AI-generated interpretations, replies and conversation practice.
- Measure product outcomes and compare models and product approaches.
- Collaborate with engineering to implement validated improvements.
- Communicate findings through reports, visualizations and recommendations.
What you bring
- Experience building statistical models and applying them to real product data.
- Working knowledge of NLP methods.
- Experience evaluating and comparing models or product approaches.
- Ability to explain findings clearly to engineering and product colleagues through reports and visualizations.
