About the role
A large banking company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will monitor the performance of internal and vendor fraud detection models and make sure business partners have timely, reliable reporting for oversight. You will also help build the monitoring processes the team relies on as it moves from SAS to Databricks.
What you'll do
- Monitor internal and vendor fraud detection models using statistical methods, SQL and Python.
- Investigate changes in model performance and explain what is driving them.
- Prepare timely reports for business oversight.
- Develop reusable monitoring processes and automated pipelines.
- Support the transition from SAS to Databricks.
- Communicate findings to US Fraud partners and technical colleagues.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of statistical methods for model performance monitoring.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with SAS, or the ability to move work from SAS to Databricks.
- Clear communication with both business partners and technical colleagues.
