About the role
A small human resources services company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will own the architecture, development, evaluation and ongoing improvement of the company's AI agent. You will lead the AI engineering workstream as the product moves from proof of concept toward MVP and pilot deployment.
What you'll do
- Own the agent's architecture, including retrieval, tool use, permissions and guardrails
- Build and improve multilingual behaviour and integrations with enterprise systems
- Establish testing and observability practices for the agent
- Improve reliability and factuality through ongoing evaluation
- Lead the AI engineering workstream through MVP and pilot deployment
What you bring
- Experience designing and building AI agents, including retrieval and tool use
- Experience with evaluation, testing and observability for AI systems
- Experience integrating AI products with enterprise systems
- Ability to lead an engineering workstream in an early-stage product
