About the role
A mid-sized manufacturing company in Delta is hiring for this role. You will manage the company's accounting activities, excluding inventory and cost of goods sold, on a 6-month temporary contract. You will keep the month-end close, cash forecasting and reporting on track and step in on other accounting work as needed.
What you'll do
- Complete month-end reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations
- Manage accrued payables and collections
- Prepare royalty and commission reporting
- Build and maintain a rolling 26-week cash forecast
- Support financial reporting and audit preparation
- Identify process improvements and cover other accounting activities
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Working knowledge of accrued payables, collections and intercompany accounting
- Experience with cash forecasting and financial reporting
- Comfort supporting audits and improving accounting processes
