About the role
A large pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will run night-shift operations for the Media, Buffer, Washing and Sterilizing (MBWS) area, keeping production on schedule while meeting cGMP and safety standards. You will also lead and develop a unionized team.
What you'll do
- Manage night-shift MBWS manufacturing operations, including production scheduling and execution.
- Oversee the shop floor and keep production running safely and on plan.
- Supervise and develop unionized personnel.
- Ensure cGMP and safety compliance, and support audits and corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement and facility project activities.
What you bring
- Experience managing manufacturing operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Working knowledge of cGMP requirements.
- Experience supervising and developing unionized teams.
- Experience supporting audits and closing corrective actions.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement work and facility projects.
