About the role
A large wholesale building materials company in Greenville is hiring for this role. You will run the aggregate plant from material receipt through shipping and lead a team of 15-20 employees. You will be accountable for safety, quality, production efficiency and cost control.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach and develop a team of 15-20 employees
- Oversee plant operations from material receipt through shipping
- Coordinate scheduling, inventory and transportation to meet customer requirements
- Keep the plant in line with regulatory requirements
- Track performance metrics and manage the plant to production and profit goals
What you bring
- Experience leading a team in a plant or production setting
- Working knowledge of safety, quality and cost control in daily operations
- Ability to balance scheduling, inventory and transportation with customer needs
- Comfort with regulatory compliance and performance reporting
