- Support budget development and financial strategy for public-sector programs
- Prepare financial reports for the board, state auditors and grant programs
- Analyze fiscal records and flag what they show
- Interpret applicable laws and regulations and apply them to your reporting
- Coordinate with senior managers, public officials, agencies and the public
What you bring
- Accounting experience with fiscal records and financial reporting
- Familiarity with federal and state grant reporting
- Ability to read and apply laws and regulations to financial work
- Clear written communication, so reports are easy for non-accountants to follow
- Comfort working with senior managers, officials and outside agencies
