About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Houston is hiring for this role. You will manage the financials for projects, from cost setup and planning through forecasting, budgeting and reporting. You will work with project and cross-functional teams to keep the numbers accurate and catch financial risks early.
What you'll do
- Set up and plan project costs, and manage forecasting and budgeting
- Complete reconciliations and prepare financial reporting in SAP
- Identify cost overruns, savings opportunities, posting errors and budget shifts
- Flag financial risks and work with project and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Improve financial processes alongside those teams
What you bring
- Experience managing project financials, including forecasting, budgeting and reconciliations
- Working knowledge of SAP for financial reporting
- An eye for cost overruns, posting errors and financial risks
- Clear communication with project and cross-functional teams
