About the role
A mid-sized IT services and IT consulting company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will own testing for data flows, ETL processes, APIs and master data management (MDM) rules, so that data quality issues are caught before they reach users. You will work in an Agile environment alongside cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression and end-to-end tests
- Use SQL and automation to validate data flows, ETL processes, APIs and MDM rules
- Track defects, investigate root causes and verify fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements
- Report test outcomes to the team
What you bring
- Experience testing data-centric systems, including ETL processes and APIs
- Working SQL skills for validating data
- Familiarity with test automation
- Understanding of MDM rules and data quality concepts
- Comfort working in an Agile environment
