About the role
A mid-sized transportation, logistics and supply chain company in Greensboro is hiring for this role. You will support the monthly close and keep the books accurate and compliant with U.S. GAAP and company controls. You will also track inventory and manufacturing costs and work with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.
What you'll do
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports.
- Support period-end close and keep audit documentation current.
- Monitor inventory and manufacturing costs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Work with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams on analysis and process improvements.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations and period-end close.
- Comfort with company controls and audit documentation.
- Ability to analyze inventory and manufacturing costs.
- A collaborative approach with Operations and Supply Chain partners.
