About the role
A large accounting company in Auburn Hills is hiring for this role. You will own KPI development and monitoring for General Ledger and Accounts Payable, and support the period-end close. The role also supports audits and contributes to reporting, automation and process improvement work across teams.
What you'll do
- Develop and monitor KPIs for General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
- Support the period-end close, preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Investigate variances and discrepancies and follow them through to resolution.
- Support audits and administer Accounts Payable system settings and vendor data.
- Assist with payment and expense processes and contribute to cross-functional reporting, automation and process improvement projects.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of General Ledger and Accounts Payable processes.
- Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ability to investigate variances and discrepancies.
- Comfort supporting audits and working with vendor data and AP system settings.
- Interest in reporting, automation and process improvement.
