About the role
A large nuclear electric power generation company in New York is hiring for this role. You will lead accounting for the company's U.S. entities, from the monthly close through financial reporting and statutory compliance. You will also support Group IFRS consolidation and strengthen financial controls as the company works toward SOX readiness.
What you'll do
- Lead the close, general ledger and financial reporting for the U.S. entities
- Coordinate external audits and statutory compliance
- Maintain effective financial controls and support SOX readiness
- Coordinate local tax reporting and support Group IFRS consolidation and reporting
- Partner with finance teams and improve accounting processes and NetSuite ERP operations
What you bring
- Experience leading the close, general ledger and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of IFRS consolidation and reporting
- Exposure to financial controls and SOX readiness
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
- Experience coordinating external audits and local tax reporting
