About the role
A large telecommunications company in Brampton is hiring for this role. You will support the Wireless CAPEX portfolio through month-end accounting, forecasting and reporting. You will work with business and finance stakeholders to explain results and trends and to flag risks and opportunities.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review month-end journal entries for the Wireless CAPEX portfolio.
- Build and maintain forecasts, budgets and reporting packages.
- Complete variance analyses and explain results and trends to stakeholders.
- Identify risks and opportunities and raise them with business and finance partners.
- Improve reporting processes and support strategic initiatives and special projects.
What you bring
- Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries at month-end.
- A solid background in forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
- The ability to explain financial results and trends clearly to business stakeholders.
- Experience with reporting packages and improving reporting processes.
