A large armed forces company in Cherry Point is hiring for this role. You will own financial management analysis across the budget cycle, from formulation and justification through execution. The role exists to keep the organization's financial information accurate, audit-ready and compliant.
What you'll do
- Conduct financial management analysis across budget formulation, justification and execution.
- Support financial operations across the organization.
- Evaluate program costs, benefits and risks.
- Assess funding alternatives and present your findings.
- Apply accounting and internal control principles to keep financial records accurate and compliant.
What you bring
- Experience in financial analysis and budget work.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- The ability to weigh costs, benefits, risks and funding alternatives.
- A record of producing audit-ready, compliant financial information.
