A large railroad equipment manufacturing company in Oak Creek is hiring for this role. You will supervise assembly employees, production schedules and material flow so the plant meets its delivery, quality, cost and safety objectives. You will also drive continuous improvement on the floor.
What you'll do
- Supervise assembly employees and day-to-day production activity
- Manage production schedules and material flow to meet delivery targets
- Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
- Manage special projects as they come up
- Maintain accurate production records and mentor your team
What you bring
- Experience supervising assembly or production employees in a manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methods
- Ability to balance delivery, quality, cost and safety objectives
- Strong record-keeping habits and a coaching approach to developing people
