About the role
A large furniture and home furnishings manufacturing company in North York is hiring for this role. You will oversee daily manufacturing-floor operations and keep production on schedule. You will lead the production team and make sure output, quality and safety targets are met.
What you'll do
- Schedule and coordinate production and assign work across the team
- Monitor output against targets and quality standards
- Enforce safety requirements on the manufacturing floor
- Lead and coach production team members
- Resolve operational issues and keep accurate production records
- Work with other departments and contribute to continuous improvement
