About the role
A large mining company in Bécancour is hiring for this role. You will lead the strategy and day-to-day performance of the plant, owning safety, production, quality, costs and asset reliability. You will also represent the plant with joint venture partners, government and the community.
What you'll do
- Lead plant strategy and daily performance across safety, production, quality and costs
- Oversee asset reliability and capital investments
- Drive continuous improvement across the site
- Develop leaders and teams
- Guide labour relations and represent the plant with partners, government and community stakeholders
What you bring
- Experience leading plant operations with accountability for safety, production and quality
- A track record managing costs, asset reliability and capital investments
- The ability to develop leaders and build strong teams
- Labour relations experience
- Credibility with external stakeholders, including joint venture partners and government
