About the role
A mid-sized automation machinery manufacturing company in Sterling Heights is hiring for this role. You will develop the manufacturing plans and process documentation for customer products, and help turn them into proposals that management and customers can act on.
What you'll do
- Develop manufacturing plans and process documentation for customer products
- Prepare layouts, timing charts, weld studies and clamping plans
- Coordinate with simulation engineers and project specialists to validate process feasibility
- Support cost estimates with sound process inputs
- Present proposals to management and customers
What you bring
- Experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Working knowledge of layouts, timing charts, weld studies and clamping plans
- Ability to work with simulation engineers and project specialists
- Clear communication skills for presenting to management and customers
