About the role
A large appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Ancaster is hiring for this role. You will keep production, test and automated assembly equipment running by handling planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns. You will also work with cross-functional teams on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production, test, CNC, PLC, robotic and automated assembly equipment
- Install and start up new equipment
- Respond to planned maintenance needs and equipment breakdowns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement
- Follow safety, quality, environmental and production standards
What you bring
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment
- Familiarity with CNC, PLC, robotic and automated assembly systems
- Troubleshooting skills for both planned maintenance and urgent breakdowns
- Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
