About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing the equipment and its supporting systems. The goal is maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment and its control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular schedule
- Manage critical spare parts
- Document maintenance work and follow safety procedures
What you bring
- Experience maintaining CNC machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Skill with control systems, including troubleshooting and calibration
- Careful documentation habits and a commitment to safe work procedures
