About the role
A large paper and forest product manufacturing company in Slave Lake is hiring for this role. You will keep production equipment running by maintaining, inspecting, repairing and assembling it, and you will help the team find ways to improve how it runs.
What you'll do
- Maintain, inspect and repair pumps, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, rollers, chains and bearings
- Assemble and install manufacturing equipment
- Follow preventive maintenance procedures
- Use blueprints and lifting devices to complete repairs and installations
- Document your work and identify opportunities for improvement
What you bring
- Millwright certification
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment
- Ability to read and work from blueprints
- Experience using lifting devices safely
- Commitment to preventive maintenance and clear documentation
