About the role
A large appliances, electrical and electronics manufacturing company in Ottawa is hiring for this role. You will own the manufacturing methods and process sequences that turn new designs into production, and keep the production records behind them accurate. You will also coordinate new product releases and engineering changes.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, process sequences, product routings and production records
- Coordinate new product releases and engineering changes
- Lead process qualification and continuous improvement work
- Conduct time studies and prepare cost estimates
- Manage project plans, milestones, bills of materials and allocations
What you bring
- Experience developing manufacturing methods and routings in a production environment
- Hands-on process qualification and continuous improvement experience
