About the role
A small IT services and IT consulting company in New Britain is hiring for this role. You will develop and execute manufacturing processes and project activities, and keep the documentation and quality plans that support them current. You will also drive process validation and continuous improvement work.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute manufacturing processes and project activities
- Complete risk assessments and build control plans
- Run PPAP work, tooling and fixture qualification, and design changes
- Lead process validation and coordinate design of experiments
- Maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans, and monitor first-pass yield data
What you bring
- Background in manufacturing or process engineering
- Working knowledge of PPAP, control plans and risk assessments
- Experience qualifying tooling and fixtures and validating processes
- Ability to use first-pass yield data to drive continuous improvement
- Familiarity with design of experiments
