About the role
A small hospitality company in New York is hiring for this role. You will own maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance for the equipment and facilities across the company's restaurant locations. You will also lead the maintenance technicians who keep each location running safely.
What you'll do
- Oversee maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance for equipment and facilities at every restaurant location
- Manage service requests, maintenance records and vendors
- Run the Upkeep platform to track work and keep records current
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians
- Coordinate with the Porter Supervisor and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, local health codes and restaurant safety protocols
What you bring
- Experience managing maintenance for equipment and facilities, ideally in a restaurant or multi-site setting
- Experience leading and developing maintenance technicians
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, local health codes and restaurant safety protocols
- Comfort managing vendors, service requests and maintenance records, including in Upkeep
