About the role
A large manufacturing company in New Bedford is hiring for this role. You will independently troubleshoot, maintain and repair complex industrial equipment, and you will help improve equipment reliability so production runs well.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and its mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Carry out equipment modifications and fabrication
- Run diagnostics to find root causes of equipment problems
- Improve equipment reliability and support production excellence
What you bring
- Ability to work independently on complex industrial equipment
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance, modifications and fabrication
- Diagnostic skills and a focus on reliability
