About the role
A small spectator sports company in the United States is hiring for this role. You will design, build, evaluate and maintain the production systems that generate accurate, low-latency sports datasets and predictions. You will also improve the modeling frameworks and workflows behind them.
What you'll do
- Design and build production machine learning systems that produce sports datasets and predictions
- Evaluate and maintain those systems so outputs stay accurate and low-latency
- Improve modeling frameworks and workflows
- Work with DevOps and data engineering teams to scale workloads
- Support cloud-native data warehouse and ETL solutions
What you bring
- Experience building and running machine learning systems in production
- Skill in evaluating models and improving modeling frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud-native data warehouse and ETL solutions
- Working knowledge of software development and database architecture best practices
- Comfort collaborating with DevOps and data engineering teams
