About the role
A small software development company in the United States is hiring for this role. You will own the evaluation, training, optimization and deployment of speech recognition and natural language understanding models that run reliably with low latency on constrained hardware, without cloud connectivity. You will also use field performance to shape model and product improvements.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, train and optimize speech recognition and natural language understanding models.
- Deploy models for low-latency operation on constrained hardware with no cloud connection.
- Build data generation and evaluation systems.
- Improve MLOps practices and tooling.
- Use field performance data to drive model and product improvements.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with speech recognition and natural language understanding models.
- Experience optimizing and deploying models for constrained, offline hardware.
- Experience building data generation and evaluation systems.
- Working knowledge of MLOps.
