About the role
A small technology and internet company in San Francisco is hiring for this role. You will own the pipelines that bring robot data in and keep it clean, and you will set the standards for data processing and model training. You will also take learned policies from training onto physical robots.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain high-throughput robot-data ingestion pipelines.
- Build and maintain quality-control pipelines for that data.
- Establish standards for data processing and model training.
- Train and deploy learned policies on physical robots.
- Calibrate hardware and apply relevant robotics research to improve real-world performance.
What you bring
- Experience building data ingestion and quality-control pipelines at scale.
- Experience training machine learning models and setting standards for how it is done.
- Hands-on experience deploying learned policies on physical robots.
- Comfort calibrating hardware.
- The ability to turn robotics research into practical gains in real-world performance.
