- Evaluate, plan, direct and coordinate daily activities for your assigned unit or department
- Oversee day-to-day operations so work moves smoothly across the team
- Take on special projects as they come up
- Perform or delegate staff duties when your direct leader is absent

- Experience supervising or coordinating operations in a hospital or similar healthcare setting
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- The ability to direct a team and delegate work clearly
- Comfort stepping into a leadership role when your leader is away
