About the role
A mid-sized IT services and IT consulting company in Newark is hiring for this role. You will own AWS-based data pipelines that ingest, transform and prepare enterprise data for analytics and AI use. The role exists to keep data workflows and datasets reliable for the teams and client stakeholders who depend on them.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and support AWS-based data pipelines for enterprise data.
- Maintain reliable data workflows and datasets.
- Optimize processing performance across pipelines.
- Resolve data-quality and production issues as they come up.
- Document and test your solutions in collaboration with engineering leads and client stakeholders.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines on AWS.
- Skill in ingesting, transforming and preparing data for analytics and AI consumption.
- A track record of troubleshooting data-quality and production problems.
- Discipline in documenting and testing your work.
- Comfort working with engineering leads and client stakeholders.
