About the role
A large business consulting and services company in Arlington is hiring for this role. You will lead the architecture, design and delivery of complex data engineering solutions, including SAP-to-cloud integrations built on Databricks and cloud platforms. You will also guide client engagements and the engineers who deliver them.
What you'll do
- Lead the architecture and design of data engineering solutions from start to delivery
- Build SAP-to-cloud integrations using Databricks and cloud platforms
- Guide client engagements and provide direction to engineering teams
- Establish technical standards for the team to follow
- Make sure solutions meet business, security, governance and performance requirements
What you bring
- Experience architecting and delivering complex data engineering solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP data and Databricks
- Experience working on cloud platforms
- Ability to guide engineers and work directly with clients
- Working knowledge of security, governance and performance considerations for data solutions
