About the role
A large accounting company in Leamington is hiring for this role. You will own the progress of compilation, review and audit engagements from preparation through review, and resolve the accounting, audit and tax issues that come up along the way. You will also mentor junior staff and keep client relationships strong.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review compilation, review and audit engagements.
- Prepare and review tax returns, HST returns and bookkeeping work.
- Manage engagement progress and resolve accounting, audit and tax issues.
- Learn your clients' industries so you can give informed advice.
- Mentor junior staff and support their development.
What you bring
- Experience preparing and reviewing compilation, review and audit engagements.
- Working knowledge of tax returns, HST returns and bookkeeping.
- The ability to manage several engagements and keep them moving.
- A willingness to coach junior team members.
- Strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
