About the role
A small spectator sports company in Los Angeles is hiring for this role. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities and keep the books accurate and current. You will also keep leadership and stakeholders informed on accounting issues and bookkeeping status.
What you'll do
- Manage accounts payable and employee expenses across multiple entities
- Code transactions and complete account reconciliations
- Carry out the first-pass month-end close
- Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet reports
- Maintain accurate supporting records and communicate accounting issues and bookkeeping status to leadership and stakeholders
What you bring
- Hands-on experience in accounts payable, expense processing and transaction coding
- Experience with reconciliations and month-end close
- Ability to prepare P&L and balance sheet reports
- Careful record-keeping and clear communication with non-accounting stakeholders
