About the role
A mid-sized software development company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will lead the Data Foundation team and roadmap, owning the data platform lifecycle from ingestion and orchestration through warehouse modeling, governance and analytics delivery. The role exists to build reliable, secure data practices and to advance agentic analytics.

- Own the data platform lifecycle, from ingestion and orchestration to warehouse modeling
- Establish reliable, secure and well-documented data practices
- Run governance and analytics delivery across the platform
- Advance agentic analytics in partnership with product, engineering, business, security and legal teams

- Senior-level data engineering experience across ingestion, orchestration and warehouse modeling
- Experience leading a data team and owning a roadmap
- A working approach to data governance, security and documentation
- Skill partnering with product, engineering, business, security and legal stakeholders
