A large financial services company in New York is hiring for this role. You will lead a multidisciplinary team that builds, deploys and supports scalable AI platform services. The role sets the technical direction for foundation models, LLM inference, agentic systems, guardrails, evaluation, governance and observability.
What you'll do
- Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering scalable AI platform services
- Set technical strategy and roadmaps for the Gen AI platform
- Make build-versus-buy and performance optimization decisions
- Operationalize responsible AI standards across the platform
- Develop and grow the talent on your team
What you bring
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or AI teams
- Working knowledge of foundation models and LLM inference
- Background in agentic systems, guardrails and evaluation
- Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI and observability
- Ability to set strategy and make sound technical trade-off decisions
