About the role
A large chemical manufacturing company in Niagara Falls is hiring for this role. You will keep plant mechanical equipment running through maintenance, repair and overhaul work. You will also support the site's safety, quality, productivity and preventive maintenance objectives.
What you'll do
- Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and overhaul pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, compressors and piping assemblies.
- Interpret work orders and technical drawings.
- Plan repair procedures before starting the work.
- Perform rigging and equipment installation.
- Support preventive maintenance, safety, quality and productivity goals on site.
What you bring
- Experience maintaining and repairing plant mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and work orders.
- Hands-on rigging and equipment installation skills.
- Troubleshooting skills across rotating equipment and piping assemblies.
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality.
