About the role
A mid-sized wholesale building materials company in St. Thomas is hiring for this role. You will keep production equipment, machinery and facility systems running reliably. The goal is less downtime and steadier operations, and you will also suggest ways to improve how maintenance is done.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment, machinery and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Keep accurate maintenance and inventory records.
- Follow safety procedures on every job.
- Work with production staff and other trades, and recommend improvements to maintenance practices.
