About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Bolton is hiring for this role. You will keep CNC machinery running by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing its equipment and control systems. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to keep the equipment reliable.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and its electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed
- Follow preventive maintenance and safety procedures
- Manage critical spare parts
- Document maintenance work and coordinate with engineering and production teams
What you bring
- Experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and calibrate machinery
- Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance procedures
- Clear documentation habits and a team-minded approach with engineering and production
