About the role
A mid-sized hospitality company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will keep the accounting records accurate across multiple properties and businesses, covering payables, receivables and cash receipts. The role also builds toward month-end closing and financial reporting.
What you'll do
- Process and reconcile vendor invoices and supplier accounts.
- Reconcile credit card transactions and payments.
- Prepare customer invoices and record cash receipts.
- Maintain payment schedules and accurate accounting records.
- Resolve discrepancies as they come up.
- Grow into month-end closing and financial reporting responsibilities.
What you bring
- Accounting experience suited to a junior role in payables, receivables and reconciliations.
- Attention to detail and care with numbers.
- Comfort working across more than one property or business.
- Interest in developing toward month-end close and reporting.
