About the role
A large construction company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will oversee accounting and financial reporting and support the Finance Controller with governance and continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
What you'll do
- Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Manage cash flow.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and other financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and external vendors.
What you bring
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Working knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and financial regulations.
- Experience managing cash flow and strengthening internal controls.
- Ability to work with auditors and external vendors.
- Ability to support governance and improve financial processes and systems.
