About the role
A mid-sized construction company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will keep the plant's machinery running by maintaining, repairing and installing equipment, including conveyors, mixers, batching systems, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. You will also support shutdowns and emergency repairs.
What you'll do
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant machinery
- Install, align and calibrate conveyors, mixers, batching systems and pumps
- Service hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Fabricate components as needed
- Support shutdowns and emergency repairs
What you bring
- Journeyperson millwright or industrial mechanic background
- Hands-on experience with conveyors, mixers, batching systems, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Fabrication skills
- Commitment to following safety procedures
- Willingness to help with plant labour and housekeeping when needed
