About the role
A large textile manufacturing company in Elkhart is hiring for this role. You will own the daily performance of the regional distribution centre, balancing safety, customer experience, associate engagement and cost efficiency. You will lead and develop the team across two shifts and work closely with Sales, Customer Service and regional leadership.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily distribution centre performance across safety, customer experience, associate engagement and cost efficiency
- Lead, coach and develop a team working across two shifts
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service and regional leadership to resolve customer issues and improve operations
- Ensure transportation compliance across the centre's activity
- Grow the company's truck business
What you bring
- Experience leading distribution or warehouse operations and managing people across more than one shift
- Working knowledge of transportation compliance
- A track record of balancing safety, service and cost targets
- Strong working relationships with sales, customer service and senior leaders
