A mid-sized IT services and IT consulting company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will design, build and maintain the data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting and application workloads. You will own the reliability, security and performance of that data infrastructure.

- Optimize ingestion and transformation processes
- Manage data infrastructure and keep it reliable and secure
- Troubleshoot data platform and pipeline issues
- Collaborate on architecture, governance, monitoring and documentation, and drive continuous improvement

- Experience building and maintaining data platforms and pipelines
- Skill in ingestion and transformation processes
- Working knowledge of data infrastructure, reliability and security
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
- Comfort working on architecture, governance and monitoring with a team
