About the role
A large IT services and IT consulting company in Alameda is hiring for this role. You will lead and coordinate cybersecurity operations initiatives across IT teams, vendors and other stakeholders. The role exists to keep remediation, monitoring and incident response work on track and visible.
What you'll do
- Lead and coordinate vulnerability remediation, infrastructure monitoring and incident response initiatives.
- Drive operational fixes across IT teams, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Plan and track execution, and manage risks and issues as they come up.
- Report operational metrics and progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain cybersecurity process documentation.
What you bring
- Experience managing cybersecurity operations projects or initiatives.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability remediation, monitoring and incident response.
- Skill coordinating work across internal IT teams and external vendors.
- Strong planning, risk management and reporting habits.
- Clear written communication for process documentation.
