About the role
A large food and beverage services company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will lead an eight-person controllership team and own the general ledger, accounts payable, tax compliance, financial controls and the monthly close and reporting cycle. This is a 12-month contract.
What you'll do
- Lead the controllership team across general ledger, accounts payable and tax compliance.
- Run the monthly close and reporting.
- Prepare consolidated GAAP financial statements.
- Lead external audits and manage balance sheet reviews.
- Support budgeting and oversee transfer pricing and government funding initiatives.
What you bring
- Experience leading a controllership or accounting team.
- Working knowledge of GAAP consolidations and financial controls.
- Experience leading external audits.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing and government funding programs.
