About the role
A small e-learning company in Ottawa is hiring for this role. You will use your corporate accounting expertise to create realistic accounting tasks and reference solutions, then assess how well AI agents handle the same work. The role exists to keep that evaluation accurate and grounded in sound accounting practice.
What you'll do
- Develop realistic corporate accounting tasks with reference solutions, including calculations and supporting schedules.
- Document the accounting treatments behind each solution.
- Evaluate the accounting work produced by AI agents.
- Define scoring criteria for assessing that work.
- Identify errors, unsupported entries, discrepancies and audit-trail weaknesses.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of corporate accounting practice.
- The ability to prepare clear calculations and supporting schedules.
- A careful eye for errors, discrepancies and unsupported entries.
- Comfort documenting accounting treatments so others can follow your reasoning.
