About the role
A large machinery manufacturing company in Navasota is hiring for this role. You will oversee accounting operations and make sure the financial statements, budgets and forecasts are accurate and compliant. You will also give the business the financial analysis it needs for planning, pricing and production decisions.
What you'll do
- Oversee accounting operations, including reconciliations, inventory controls and reserves
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial performance and support strategic planning, pricing and production decisions
- Support audits and keep the company compliant with GAAP and other regulations
- Coordinate with corporate and operating departments
What you bring
- Experience managing accounting operations in a manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial statement preparation
- Experience with inventory controls, reserves and account reconciliations
- Ability to turn financial analysis into recommendations for operating teams
