About the role
A large retail company in Framingham is hiring for this role. You will own the financial close and reporting process, making sure financial statements are accurate and on time and that the company meets US GAAP and SOX control requirements. You will also lead and develop the accounting team.
What you'll do
- Manage the financial close and reporting process from start to finish.
- Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely and compliant with US GAAP.
- Maintain SOX controls across the accounting function.
- Lead and develop a team of accountants and review their work.
- Oversee accounting projects and audits.
- Partner with business stakeholders to improve operations.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with SOX controls and compliance.
- Experience managing the financial close and reporting.
